Competence center for molded pulp in Glanegg

   HIRSCH establishes a competence
center for molded pulp in Glanegg

For the first time, the HIRSCH Servo Group is investing in a competence center and a development and test facility for Molded Pulp technology at the Glanegg site.

In the future, household appliances weighing up to ten kilograms will be packed in recycled cardboard boxes from HIRSCH. The necessary production technology will be developed in Glanegg and will later be rolled out to other locations of the HIRSCH Servo Group. According to HIRSCH Servo CEO Harald Kogler, Molded Pulp will be used in packaging production at the customer's request. We are thus serving the same market as with our EPS packaging, but are adding another sustainable material to our product portfolio.
