Modular apprenticeship in mechatronics:
Duration: 3.5 years

Mechatronic technicians build mechatronic components for machines, systems and devices. They are able to assemble mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic/hydraulic and information technology parts into mechatronic systems. They install the manufactured components, commission the machines and operate them. Mechatronic technicians work together with their colleagues and other specialists from the fields of electrical engineering, electronics and mechanical engineering in production halls. During assembly, they work directly their customers' sites at various locations.
Apprenticeship as mechanical engineer
Duration: 3.5 years
Technical, varied and practical - that's what this apprenticeship offers to you!
Mechanical engineers design, plan and build machines and systems of all kinds (e.g. machine tools, industrial robots, production systems, conveyor belts) and accompany their entire life cycle. They work in the areas of development and design or production preparation and manufacturing. In order to perform calculations, simulations, drawings and technical documents they work with computers and special software programs (e.g. CAD = computer aided design). Designers for mechanical engineering work in planning offices, factories and production halls in teams with various specialists and assistants and have contact to customers and suppliers.
Apprenticeship as an office administrator

Office administrators are responsible for various commercial tasks in companies of all kinds. They work in offices or in various departments of their company (e.g. administration, warehouse, production, customer service). They handle telephone, e-mail and other correspondence, take care of the office organization and manage files, folders, journals, lists and other documents. They evaluate market analyses and prepare statistics and other operational key indices. Depending on the department or area of responsibility, they can also be responsible for purchasing raw materials, for warehouse logistics or for marketing and advertising. Office administrators work in teams with colleagues and other commercial specialists and assistants and have contact to suppliers and customers.
