Kurt Hirsch was born 1952 in Klagenfurt. He founded HIRSCH Porozell GmbH in Landskron/Carynthia in 1972, and thereby laid the cornerstone for the HIRSCH Servo Group. His responsibilities on the Managing Board include corporate development/expansion as well as development/innovation.

Hirsch`s entrepreneurial principle is: “Quality is experience. Experience is perfection. Perfection is the reasonable use of energy. Energy is a cycle. The cycle is quality. Everything is harmony.“
In keeping with this principle, Kurt Hirsch – who has three children – has founded a number of companies within the HIRSCH Servo Group and successfully developed these companies as managing director. Following the IPO, he was active on the Supervisory Board of HIRSCH Servo AG. He returned to the Managing Board in mid-2004 to implement a change of strategy in the company.
