ICF is an innovative construction system consisting of EPS parts (EPS = expandable polystyrene, better known by the brand name of Porozell®) reinforced with metal or plastic on the building site and then filled with concrete.
If operated in three shifts, the mobile plant has an annual production capacity of some two million ICFs, which can be used to build 1,000 to 2,000 family homes (depending on size).
The benefits of this construction system lie in its low energy requirements due to the integrated insulation (EPS), protection and strength to withstand natural disasters (tornados, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes etc.), and costs saved by the reduction in construction time.
The „HIRSCH Satellite Plant-Package“ contains:
- the construction of the building (l x w x h: 16 x 12 x 7,4 m)
- the installation of steam and compressed air system, cooling water system
and treatment, electrical distribution and various piping installation modules
- one operator training
- 6 month online support
- 3 ICF-Tool sets
- Consulting for application of the insulating concrete forms at the building site
The test run of the prototype at HIRSCH Maschinenbau in Glanegg/Austria guarantees a smooth production flow.
Turnkey delivery and project-related relocation to any site required are possible within four weeks (without transit time).
