The Technology Division (former Machinery and Plant Engineering) produces automatic shape molding equipment, including molds and pre-expanders, as well as block molding machinery.
HIRSCH expanders reach a density tolerance of less than +/- 1% and guarantee the highest output from the raw materials used.
The shape molding machines are capable of handling the most complex applications: for example coated flooring boards, EPS components with flush plastic or metal parts (ICF´s) as well as EPS components with two material densities.
In Italy, block molds and block presses are produced and sold as complete machines together with cutting, packaging and recycling equipment.
