The activities of the EPS Processing Segment (with the two divisions EPS Packaging and EPS Insulation) focus on the processing of expandable polystyrene (EPS), expandable polypropylene (EPP) and expandable polyethylene (EPE). The wide range of applications cover protection for man (e.g. crash helmets) and products (e.g. packaging for high-quality electronic equipment) as well as insulation (e.g. underfloor heating and insulating materials).
The Technology Segment (formerly Machinery and Plant Engineering) produces high-quality, flexible and economical machinery and equipment for the processing of EPS into shape molded parts and insulating materials. This business unit supplies EPS processors who serve as sub-contractors for the packaging, construction, foodstuffs and electronics industries.
Furthermore the HIRSCH Servo Group sells Satellite Plants and automatic pallet production units, providing the added value expected by today's logistics experts and industrial companies.
